Professional Coach Training Program (PCTP)

The Professional Coach Training Program trains leaders and aspiring coaches to develop coaching competencies to collaborate with others in order to reach potential. Courses may be taken a la cart. In order to graduate from the Professional Coach Training Program, participants must complete a total of sixty training hours.

Professional Coach Training Program (PCTP): The PCTP is an ICF approved training program comprised of four 15-hour training courses designed to train leaders and aspiring coaches. In this training, you will develop coaching competencies to collaborate with others in order to reach potential. Courses may be taken a la cart. In order to graduate from the Professional Coach Training Program, participants must complete a total of sixty training hours. Once a participant completes Introduction to Coaching, he/she may complete additional courses in any order. A participant will satisfy the ICF training requirements to apply for ACC credentials by completing four 15-hour courses in the PCTP.

 

All courses are designed around the International Coach Federation Coaching Competencies. Each course contains opportunities for participants to practice learned coaching competencies as part of the overall learning experience. All courses are currently trained by Michael Smith, president of Professional Coach University and founder of Michael Smith Coaching LLC. Courses are currently available in English.

Definition of Coaching: The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. All of our Coach Training provide hours toward ICF Certification.
